Samuel, a licensed massage therapist turned luxury candle designer, has overcome her own struggles with post-partum depression and mental health challenges which started in her twenties. She is also a survivor of marital abuse. Samuel eventually turned to candle-making as a source of healing reassurance.
Sharing her creations with others has helped her reach a deeper sense of meaning and love, and she is passionate about working with others who struggled with the same battles she faced. Now at 40 years old, she is in a happy and healthy marriage and is the loving mother of two beautiful children.
"The healing presence of handmade candles leaves a lasting impression in our psyches, and can play a significant role in improving our mental health," Samuel says. "Creating one-of-a-kind concrete candles is a role I take very seriously, and it is an honor to be a part of my customer's at home healing experience."
